Sixties Hurst Shifter?

This is the typical reverse shifter lever for the 1968 A-Body and I think other years and models.
My question is, was there a shifter used in ´68 or earlier, (any model) that had a different (straight) reverse lever?
Possibly also the type levers that use bushings? (second pick)
So the shape of the reverse shifter lever is the question here...

Yes, I suppose this is what it looks like and always has.
Reason I´m asking is I want to rule out the possibility of a shifter, or rater reverse shifter lever looking any different. Offered in a production´68 A-Body i.e.
