Frustration "here" as in FABO, or your shop?
lol both. I just about have the dyno whipped into shape.
We bought the thing from an estate sale for 4k and it came with a 1200 gallon tank, two pumps and all the plumbing.
Issue #1. The bigger of the two pumps wouldn’t run three decent lawn sprinklers.
It was COVID time and it took forever to get two pumps. Then it had to be plumbed.
Issue #2. Because it was found at an estate sale, and because the daughter and son in law were selling off the estate and they don’t know a dyno from a butter knife, criminal asshole thieving clowns got there first and stole the drive plate, foot valve and two computer cards that are on the dyno frame.
Slightly bigger than post cards, you could (and they did) unplug the cards, stick them in your pocket and walk off with them.
Those cards at that time had an $1800.00 dollar core charge and the cards themselves cost $2500.00 each. And that was from a guy who used to work at Superflow. They were more expensive from SF.
So sorting out all that crapola took some time.
Now I’m down to the gravy. It’s pretty much plug and play now.
At least as plug and play as a dyno gets.
