What other choice is there? I don't know of one. You might jump over to the slantsix.org site and see what those guys say. Thanks for the response Rusty, but to my knowledge of certs, is that it would no longer be certified if modified. Not for me, but I believe the individual's application would be for about as serious racing that one would do with a slant, and they want it according to Hoyle, or in this case the NHRA. I figure if no one knows of source for an approved unit on this site, then there probably isn't one, and I'll pass the word after a bit more time.
The guys over on the .org site may have an answer. There's a few of them who seriously race slants so I'd think they might know something. Thanks, I'll take a look. In talking to Pat B. yesterday for some reason we started talking about slants, (I haven't had one for over 30 years and doubt I'll have another at this point in life), and he was telling me about this guy that had some billet slant stroker cranks made and then mentioned someone, maybe not even the same guy, was looking for an approved flex plate source. Pat doesn't really spend any time online, so I thought I'd take a look for him.
