I've got a '67 Valiant with a manual trans. I'm wanting to install long tube two piece headers but the space between the z-bar & the tie-rod is really small. Almost all of the Clifford long tubes that I've found are for automatic transmissions. I don't want to spend the $ for Hookers then only find out they won't fit. More than likely I'll end up installing Clifford shorty headers but if anybody has any pics or tips I would appreciate it. While we're on the subject is there a notable performance difference with long tubes vs. short?

I ran the clifford long tubes and installed a hydraulic clutch in my 74 dart. It worked well. I did 2 1/4" exhaust into an x pipe to 40 series flowmasters and then to 340 dart tips. It sounded pretty good but the drone was pretty bad.

Thanks guys. I ended up ordering the Clifford Shorties with the x-pipe. I considered the Aussie Speed headers but I'm not taking anymore chances. Only because I've heard that some of the Aussie Stuff may or may not clear the steering box for left hand drive. I just want this portion of my project done so I can move on to the next.
Mopar79Sean, How do you like the Hydraulic Clutch? My manual clutch works so well that I never considered changing it. What are the advantages?
