slant 6 help needed

i just acuired a 71 demon with /6 manual 3speed, its been a long time since i have owned a slant. any thing i should or should not be using?? i would like to do a tune up.
what plugs, wires, points, cap, rotor, r u guys running?
i used to run belden wires but they dont seem to be worth a crap anymore?

i was using off the shelf parts. NGK plugs, a good set of 8mm wires, a good cap and rotor. make sure you set your valve lash, that by itself can make a world of difference. new fuel filter , blast the carb off with some carb cleaner..etc etc... i think it was .010 intake and .020 exhaust with the engine hot. do a search there are tons of threads with exact numbers and instructions...
 
Service your oil pressure relief valve under the oil filter, I've had this burned into my eyes reading threads all the time about slant threads, not to mention it was pounded into my brain by many members here.
