Here's a brand-new (not "remanufactured") carb, a genuine Carter BBD (not the Chinese counterfeit garbage) It's a truck carb, which'll run better than car carbs (less-stringent truck emissions standards = they don't have strangulation jetting). Been in climate-controlled storage, so it's not a corroded mess.
It is configured for automatic choke. It's a tag № 8110s, Chrysler P/N 4041 551, spec for 1977 Dodge D/W pickups and B vans with 225. Drop-on for any 2bbl Slant-6, excellent pick for a 2bbl retrofit project. Has Teflon-coated throttle shaft. Has vacuum-operated idle speed stabilizer that keeps idle speed constant in response to loads like A/C compressor, high demand on alternator, power steering at severe angles, etc. Chrysler called this "AIS" for Automatic Idle Speed. $318 for this carb:
