I took the slant 6 out of my 73 duster.

The motor has a bent rod I believe.

It has A/C on it also.

My question is :

Is it worth trying to par it out or should I just scrap it?
 
Part it out.
Somebody will need small parts.
Then scrap what you cant sell.
I remember my last slant, I went to 5 old junkyards that specilized in old cars looking for a carburator. I only found one that was usable.
 
Well in that case, I will start disassembling it.

Everything is still on it but the alternator.
 
I am still on the fence about selling the motor. My father-in-law wants me to keep it just because a need for it might come up.

My family is the original owner of the car so just unsure of the path to go down with the motor.

It is a 225 w/AC ( I will keep the compressor either way though).

It has a 1 barrel carb from the factory, not sure on the manufacture.

Be out of town for a week, Ill decide by then if I want to part with the motor or not.

Got the motor and parts in a for sale add on here, prices aren't set in stone.
