[WANTED] slant six and auto Trans

have the following:
1964 slant six from valiant four door - trans is sold (push button type)
1968 slant six from valiant four door w/ trans, no intake or exhaust manifolds
1969 slant six from dart two door w/trans, no intake or exhaust manifolds
i would consider the 64 engine the best candidate for engine as it has manifolds and turns over, the 68 and 69 engines are cores - have been sitting a Long Time and need to be gone through. I recently removed both the 68 and 69 engines / trans from their respective homes, and drained the tranny fluid by dropping the pans on both. the 68 seemed slightly better in terms of band / clutch residue. Noticed the 68 / 69 trans had plugs in order to drain the convertors.

spike I would stay away from the early slants unless you find an aluminum one because you have to have an adapter to put an newer transmission on it (1967+) easier to buy as one unit
