How many is too many?
Any of you run across engines missing the snout bolt from the factory? I have one that is missing the bolt and has factory paint in the balancer opening....
Slant six crank snout bolt....

Pissed off senior member.
It was hit and miss, some had them and some didn't. If you want to put one in it wont hurt and a V8 bolt and washer will go right in.

For reference, the bolt is 3/4" fine thread and about 1-1/4" long.
Most Slants did not get one from the factory7. It probably saved Ma about 27 cents apiece on the motors.

The small block bolt is actually just a little too long. I cut off about 1/4" and all is kosher now..... except for the sloppy timimg set I have to replace. Why no roller sets available?

Slant parts can be hard to find. You just have to ask the right people. ;)

JP performance out of australia makes billet roller sets for all mopar including the slant 6's.
