[WANTED] Slant Six Motor/Transmission

As luck would have it....
one of the guys that works with me has a nice '74 Scamp we are helping him build.
We are going to Charlotte today to pickup a 318 and trans to replace the original Slant6 in his nice 74 Scamp. So the original great running slanty and automatic from the '74 Scamp is available. Currently a running / driving car and used every day to go to lunch!
Drop me a PM and we can discuss timing (may be a bit until the engine swap happens), distance and trade$. Car is in Durham NC. About a 6 hour drive to Carlisle, PA as a point of reference.

I have motor and trans out of 68 valiant and live in DuBois Pa. motor turns over but carb needs rebuilt, spark plug wires are shot, and vacuum hoses are dry rotted. pm me if you are interest will let go cheap.
