Slap Stick in an 67 A body Cuda-swap???

Just wishing I had a slap stick shifter in my 67 Barracuda, anybody already prove this theory true, or false? Stock shifter works just fine, but love a slap stick, I've found a 71 Charger shifter, wondering if it's worth the hassle...

I've seen a slap stick in a 70 Coronet.

IIRC the shifter mounts are the same.

Console maybe not

bolts right in and works fine. stick is too short for console. I'm working on adding the arched stick from an older shifter.

I see no reason why it couldn't be done. As long as you have some fabricating skills. I would like to see it done. Anyone know if the slap stick gear selector plate is smaller than the A body console selector plate.
