just purchased a set of mancini's sliding rear leaf spring shackles for the rear of our big block 74 dart sport. the car is a big block
440,.030 over, 14.1.1 comp, .675 lift bullet roller cam, m1 intake, 850 dbl pumper, hooker 2in fenderwell hedders
foot brake car launching at 2200 rpm the car turned a 1.48 60ft and ran a 1/8 mile at 6.72 @ 102.35
i am wanting to know if any one is running these sliding shackles and how well they worked. we are running competition engineering slide link bars.
NEED ANY INFO AVAILABLE FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE RUNNING OR KNOW ABOUT THESE.

Mostly seen them used in oval track appplications. Alignment to prevent binding is critical during installation. They also will require periodic inspection and lubrication. They are not a set it and forget it type of part like shackles.

yeah it is a strong motor. needs a transbrake and a dominator carb. it is a lot under carbed right now. just got it together and running this spring. 1st time ever driving the car it ran a 10.55 right off the trailer.
