Hi everyone,
Hoping to get some recommendations on a good alternator for my 340 set up. I have quite the assortment of electrical components and as such need a strong alternator to boot. I have done the calculations on what I have and determined a 160 amp alternator would be sufficient, with a bit of wiggle room.
I have seen a number of threads on here with people going the Denso route. However, I have not been able to find one that fits a SB that puts out more than 120amps. If one does exist, can someone provide a part number or the applicable vehicle it would have come on?
If this does not exist, can anyone suggest another alternator that would be a good choice? I have found some Powermaster alternators, but have seen mixed items about them.
