Im having the hardest time deciding what color to paint my engine block. I honestly dont even know the "mopar" colors. I dont really want to do blue. My engine bay is all black I have chrome valve covers and air intake with silver wrapped headers. Color suggestions would be very appreciated. The headers aren't wrapped yet in the picture

What year is the car?
I usually go with the yr color or hemi orange. I went Chrysler red this last time since I drive a 1967 Valiant

Then paint it Mopar turquoise, hemi orange is too close to the Chevy color, ugly. imo
What's the other Orange? Maybe it was that one I used it seems like it's a little dull compared to the Hemi Orange.
I kinda like the early blue too, but haven't been able to force myself to paint any of my own small blocks that color

The other orange is RACE hemi orange. (Also, maxwedge)
Yellower than hemi (or chevy) orange, hard to find, harder to keep clean.

My suggestion:
Have you ever wondered why aircraft landing gear bays are painted white? While the engine is out of the bay, re-paint the engine bay white. Re-paint the engine white, or a light color which will also reflect a lot of light. Consider color coding components.
1) It makes finding any leaks much easier.
2) When you're in there with a drop light, all that light bounces around a lot better so you can see that one damn starter bolt or motor mount bolt.

Make your maintenance life easier.
