It won't fit a 340, different half circle for the oil pan.

respectfully, this is wrong. This cover will fit 318/340/360 for 70 and up applications

Aren't the oil pans different on A 360? The half round ends are larger on a 360. That's how it's always been.

Look up aftermarket oil pans, 360 is all by itself., And same with the oil pan gaskets.

The back of the pan is a different size half moon, yes. The front is the same
