small block water pump length?

Cast iron pumps are shorter than Aluminum pumps...so what is the length of each ? this is for mock up (I know the lower hose is in different spot.

So , nobody has an aluminum water pump that they can measure the distance from the mounting surface to the pulley mounting surface ? I could use this information, to see if I have pulleys that may work.

Thank you so much...I have a cast iron pump, that I can mount on my 86 318. Just needed to know how much longer the Aluminum pump was. Thanks again.

There is about an inch difference as I recall. I have it all written down somewhere. I will look tomorrow.

about 4 5/8" from gasket surface to pulley mount surface.
