Does anyone have a recommendation for a small E clip removal and install tool for the SMALL e clips on some carburetors? I'm bout tired of using needle nosed pliers.

Yep, those are great e clip tools. The Lisle tool I posted above is for hair pin clips. Like these little devils.
Rusty, I have a small pair of bent needle nose pliers that I sometimes use for e-clips. I don’t remember how or where I got them way back in the late 1970s.
Did anyone else ever refer to those clips as “Jesus clips”, or is that just a local thing from my past?

My auto shop teacher called the clips on drum brake parking brake levers Jesus clips, didn't take me long to understand why.
I have a set of picks and they work, but I want something to GRAB them so they don't slip off, fall off or go shooting off into the stratosphere. lol
I don't see how in the world that works, but I bookmarked the one that's available.
I saw those but I don't know a size 3 from a size foe hunnit.
There's a hook that comes out of the end. The spring is stout enough to hold the clip.

Was just going to reply that a friend of mine (who has since passed away) was an old time Mopar guy. He used to call them Jesus clips.
Wonder how those clips got that name?

My friend told me it’s because when they fly off the carb and sail across the garage, you say “Jesus!”
Or when you drop it down the carb throat into the engine.
