i just wanted to post about my son, Jason Lee (@Prorac2 )

I started this project,

Father, Son, and Grand Father project. 1963 Valiant

Planing to teach my son the art, love, and psychotic attention to detail, I have for the automobile.

I never thought that I would learn so much.

I learned that my son is greater of far more than I give him credit for.

I learned that some days we are WAY to much alike to work together. Lol.

I learned that he has an uncanny eye for details.

I learned that I am capable of far more than I give MYSELF credit for. Lol.

I learned that it does in fact take a village to raise a child.

I learned that FABO members are my village people. Lol.

And I learned that evolution is inevitable. I learned that he will someday know more than me. And I learned that a fathers love means sometimes letting them make their own mistakes.

I’m so proud of this young man, and the man he’s become.

In the photo below, Jason is driving his grand fathers 600 hp pickup for the first time. It’s stupid fast. Lol.

It makes you smile like this when you drive it. Lol.

He's hooked BIG time .. What an accomplishment :D
Scary .. Jason is a twin to my home boys' son Jason. We managed to get him hooked on Hot Rods too :D.
I had Jason grinding the boogers off some sheet steel I was welding inside the mixer on my asphalt plant. He hands me the second section and it has a letter ground into it "L" :wtf:. Something in my head said "keep track of these letters" so I wrote them in soapstone on the mixer as I welded them in. I looked over the edge of the mixer when he handed the last piece of steel, he had that exact grin on his face. "I love doin this stuff" was the entire mixer shaft guard message. I can still see that goofy grin on his face :D.

He must be the coolest kid in his class..
Good job boys..

This is totally magazine worthy. If only there were worthy magazines left that would do a really good article on it. Three generations working on a kid's first hot rod. That's the best of the best kind of news.
