solid front axle?

I have a 66 dart and was wondering if any one out there has ever put a solid front axle in one like something you would find on a old school gasser? and if you have can you direct me in the right direction for fab work. thanks

FYI,,A guy over on the B body site is using a front kit from Speedway Motors. They have lots of old school stuff.The axle kits come in different sizes. Ckeck it out.
