these lifters are same as new
They were installed ran a few minutes, realized the cam was too big for them

At what point does a cam become to big for a roller lifter? How big was your cam?

probably because the center of the body isn't solid so oil pressure is lost when the cam exposes the center area of the lifter??

They will work for big or small block
