Have you Magnum Guys noticed a difference in the torque specs. for the Intake, Oil Pan, Damper, and Camshaft Sprocket Bolt, compared to the LA ?

La--Intake - 35 ft. lbs. W/ different sequence pattern, mag. 12 ft.lbs.

La--Oil Pan -15, Mag. 18 FT. Lbs. or 215 inch lbs.

La--Damper - 135, Mag 180 FT. Lbs.

La--Cam Bolt - 35, Mag 50 FT. Lbs.

My Cam bolt came off at 30, and 35 is where I'm putting it. I haven't put the Damper on yet, but it seems too much to me.

These figures for the Magnum engine came from the Mopar Magnum engines Book.

What do all you guys think ?

Thanks 66dartman

I realize there is a relatioship between torque and bolt size and strength, but this mopar book is screwed up. I looked at another magnum edition and it's different, some of it matches the LA. I think they got the intake right, but you'll crush the cam washer and the damper is way too much.
This book is hitting the trash.
I'm new at this, so it's live and learn.

SO nevermind !!!

One of those Mopar Magnum books has the firing order wrong, or at least the edition I have does.

I use the LA specs on mine.
