Best part, I survived and so did the neighbors? I went with a ford color from 2003 they used it on the thunderbirds. Was a little bit of charcoal tint in it but pretty close to the original color.
So the big question of the day? How long should I let this thing bake in the garage before I put the front suspension and drive train in?

LOL, yeah it didn't last long I've got half the suspension on and tomorrow the rest.

Ha, jack stands tonight after I get the R side suspension on. I'd have the engine in this weekend but the jeep needs some love before the next off road trip at the end of the month in Pa.

It's been 3 long years since the ole girl has sat on 4 feet. I can't describe the feeling when I let it off the jack and saw it sitting there like a car again! Engine and tranny install on Monday!

A couple of these pics are floating around on a different thread but this has become my restoration thread I guess so I felt I needed to catch it up a bit. Any way I'm waiting on a bunch of detail stuff for the engine compartment so it's covered up and I'm stripping my way back (windshield frame and roof) in preperation for paint so I can get the dash and windshield in. So far so good although it is a slow process.....
