What are your thoughts? I have had someone try to scam me before like this on a motorcycle site so I'm VERY sceptical . Ed

We're having someone try this on us right now with our Challenger, we're not sending the car or anything, but Ive been hearing more about these scams lately and stuff.

What?????????..............won't he also need your bank account no. so he can deposit the cheque???????????

WTF

Let me guess... the guy lives in another country?

Spend some time reading on carbuyingtips.com. There are some excellent tips on buying and selling automobiles. They identify common scams and fraudulent practices perpetrated by car dealerships and online buyer/sellers. If you do any 'horsetrading' at all, this site could save you some big money.

Run as fast as you can, this is the biggest scam going. If you have the money to buy a good car,you got the money to go and see it and shake the hand of the owner, other than that, tell them to F off,Mrmopartech

Yeah, I knew it was a scam as soon as I read that email. The reason I posted it here is because this A--hole is operating on THIS SITE . Has he tried this on anyone else here? Ed

Yes, Someone tried that one on me on another Mopar site... SCAM!!!!!!!

ny opinion is that you should report this guy to the authorites fbi or whoever can go after this guy. a story in mcg a while back was about the sane lines as this . a lot of high dollar cars were involved but the guy was busted. good luck

here is a copy of the private message he sent me here on this site. I looked yp his profile in yahoo 'cause he used a yahoo email address and there is no record of him.

The question must be asked,Why do we let people in here without filing a verifiable profile. We are setting ourselves up for this kind of crap by not being a bit more selective in the membership requirements. Ed
