For a '65 Barracuda. Anyone know of a source for the clips, 10 per side, that attach the stainless steel molding to the top of the rear quarter panels?
Laysons has them. #GZ-88148.
Sure Bob. Note they won't come with the sealing "pads" present on the originals. The picture below shows one of GZ clips next to a factory clip. You (and I) will need to be creative to actually seal the holes.

That stuff might work if the clips are strong enough to smish tight around the holes. I use that very thing to seal the corner moldings on metal sided campers and around the windows. It works good for that, but I also caulk the edges when done. If I can get a little time, I will dig my Mortite out and try it on those chrome strips on my 65 Barracuda. My car is still in "As found from crackheads" condition, so it won't hurt it....lol.Thanks for the "heads-up" DC. I was wondering about that. Now I have to get resourceful and figure out how to seal the holes, open to ideas.
Edit: This looks just like the stuff on the old clips. Mortite; Mortite 19 oz. x 90 ft. Grey Weatherstrip and Caulking Cord B2 - The Home Depot
