1983 318 from a ramcharger.

Stock long block. Stock compression

214/224, .444/.466 cam. 112 LSA, 104 ICL. Hydraulic.

Holley street dominator intake with Holley 390 cfm 4160 carb.

Mopar performance electronic ignition kit with MSD blaster 2 coil.

Currently looking at champion 405's.

No brand loyalty in mind. Just looking for all suggestions as to a starting point with a mild cam 318.

Also, any suggestions on total timing for startup and cam break in are appreciated.

Thanks. Eric

Let's say E3 in even cylinders. Splitfires in odd cylinders. The best of both then. :)

NGK ZFR5N extended tip plug. Really smoothed out the idle and off idle acceleration. This is in my daily driver 318, factory 4 bbl, with headers. Otherwise stock.

Your best bet is to call NGK or any other plug dealer and tell them what you have for a motor and what was done to it. Then they will be able to tell you exactly what you need. I believe it will be a copper core plug but which number is up to them.
