I want to put a stereo in my '69 Valiant ("El Strippo De-Luxe! :thumblef: ") and do NOT want to cut holes in the doors. Does anybody else remember seeing an ad in MCG awhile back for somebody making kick panels with an offset/forward set speaker hole...anybody know who this was and if it's still available?

Took me awhile to find the add. Found it in the january issue.
The company is The-Direct-Sourse.com. I want to get a set
of those kick panels for my Duster.

Thanks :salut: ! I've seen alot of old doors butchered and most of the installations don't look good anyways. A few years back I saw a convertible 'Cuda that had everything molded in, custom door panels that were hard to tell from stock, and BIGGG bucks. Not gonna do it with the Valiant-wouldn't be prudent...

If you arent too picky about the way your stereo sounds, try making a mounting plate for underneath your dash where the 4x10 speaker would normally go. Put two 4" on a plate and mount from underneath the dash.

Havent tried this yet, but I think thats what Im going to try.

Has anyone else done this?
