Not sure what's happening, but my speedometer is about 5 mpg slow or more going over 20 mph. It was changed from auto to a 3 speed by another person... but it also has 195/70/15 on the back. Or is that my problem?
Speed and tire size.

you need to match the speedo gear in transmission to the rear axle ratio and tire height.

Oh dang! So I'll have to open up the transmission and diff to figure that out right?
Not really, jack the car up and spin a tire, count the driveshaft revolutions that will give you the gear ratio.
Drain the trans fluid and change the gear from the side, pay attention to the alignment marks on the metal part that holds the plastic gear.
