What are the general thoughts on other SM parts, valves, rockers etc?

I bought bare speedmaster heads several years ago along with all the valves and their 1.6 stainless rocker arms. I had the machine shop assemble the heads using their preferred springs matched to my cam. I can’t give you any feed back though, since I haven’t installed them yet.

I always wonder.... they show the bare casting magnum replacement head as 179cc and the bare casting aluminum head as 170 cc.... I wonder if that magnum head as cast flows better than the aluminum head as cast....

Thanks a lot. By posting this I motivated myself to order a pair of these cast iron Magnum replacement heads. Hopefully I set them up and use them instead of leaving them sit as door stops. I better read through those two threads again for tips.
