Hello all. Would you be able to tell me what speedo gear (number of teeth and color) I would need for my Dart. I have the 833 and a 3:73 rear gear in my 8 3/4" with a 25.3" tire. Thanks for your help.

I have the chart at home (at work now). If no one has replied by then I will look it up for you in the morning.:-D

Sorry, I just woke up. I was beat this morning and went straight to bed.
Here is the info I have. It doesn't list 3.73 on the chart but there is a formula near the bottom that you can use. Maybe some other members will find this info useful too.

Formula
To determine the diameter of a P metric tire use this formula. Width/25.4 = width in inches. Width in inches x aspect ratio, expressed as a percentage = height of sidewall. (Height of sidewall x 2) + rim diameter = tire height.

Decoding the tire information
Let's decode an example tire, a P185/70R14. The P stands for P metric. The 185 is the width of the tire in millimeters. The 70 is the aspect ratio of the tire, in this case 70 % . The R means it is a radial, you might see a B, for bias ply on occasion. the 14 is the rim diameter.
Example formula

Let's run the formula using our example tire. 185/25.4 = 7.28. 7.28 x 70% = 5.10. (5.10 x 2) + 14 = 24.2. Our chart calls out the size as being 24.2, sucess.

Exceptions, caveats, and disclaimers
The sizes given are not all inclusive so you might need to run the formula.

The stated diameters may not correspond to an actual measurement as not all tire manufacturers adhere to this formula, precisely, case in point BFG tires tend to be wider than the designator would lead you to believe. It will get you close enough to do the job.

Hitting the exact tire size listed and gear the calc I get is 38.66 so going to be a compromise either way you go. Closer to H22A4's reply though at 39 tooth. Speedo is still going to be a bit off either way you go, but closer to actual with the 39.
Always a brain teaser thinking which way it will go, but I think with a 39 you will show slightly faster on the speedo than you are actually going. Did I get that right? Think so.

Calc shows rpm at 70 mph at roughly 3700-3800 rpm.

Cheers
