Speedo is Waaay off

I recently took my instrument cluster out to detail it a bit and after I put it back in it flutters a lot and seems to be reading about double speed. Anyone have any idea what I screwed up?

Is it possible that your cable is not seated all the way IN.......?

I've seen loose cables make these speedo's act really weird......

I suppose its possible. Im not really looking forward to ripping off the scabs from the cuts that i got from tearing it apart. There sure isnt a lot of room in there but I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

Maybe you´ll want to check if the speedo cable is installed correctly. The other thing could be that the speedo assembly screwed up for any given reason. Remember speedos are very delicate mechanisms and any hit could affect them in some way.
