I have a 150mph speedometer that I want to put in my 68 Barracuda's dash but the red pointer is broken off and missing from the base of of the dial. Is this a DIY repair (I have a 120mph speedo that I can use for parts) or does it have to be sent out to the speedo repair guys? If it is a job for the experts, who do you recommend? Is there any Canadian repair shops?

I'm sure it can be fixed with a little know how since you have one with parts. Talk with RedFish.

Although you can replace the needle yourself (they basically just pull off), I'd consider sending your 150 speedo out and get it cleaned and calibrated for another 40 years of service. I've used Denver Speedometer several times and highly recommend them. I'm sure you have Canadian repair facilities as well.
