Alright so I got a 64-65 a833 with the wierd small speedometer gear, not the larger a904 gear. Its also been snapped off. Anyways is there any way to convert it to electronic like the a904? Or do I have to get a later model tailshaft to be able to fit the bigger one?

No electronic conversion I'm aware of.

A later tailshaft won't help you, since your '64/'65 trans uses a ball & trunnion output shaft which won't work with the later slip yoke housing.
The speedo drive is one piece with the speedometer cable, and needs to be replaced as a unit.
Repros are available from Brewer's and Imperial services.
Brewer's Performance - Mopar A833 4-Speed Transmission and Component Specialists
Imperial Services - '60-'76 A-Body Parts
If you're trying to put this trans in a later model A body, be aware that '67 is the last year that this cable will hook up to the speedometer- they changed the style of attachment after that, from a screw-on speedo head to a snap-on style.
