Had the front end out (I painted it). Replaced bearings and u-joints. Put on bigger tires.

This thing is ridiculous now with the new tires. 106" wheel base and over 20" of ground clearance under the differentials.

Below is a pic of me with the front diff touching the center of my back.

The other pic is an example of what these things look like from the side.

My Dad works on those for a guy here that has several. They are cool rigs

Its not as big but here's my 6 foot long go anywhere 8 wheeler with a 17 hp Kohler engine, portal axles like the Unimog and articulating front end and disc brake. 1 of 25 made in 1960. The other 4 wheels and tires bolt on to each wheel. If any of you are interested, PM me..
