Looking for opinions on how Calvert split mono-leaf springs handle on the street. I was in the process of moving my springs in to the frame when one of my ss spring eyes broke after having the aluminum slider bushing pressed in(1”).

I’m already running Calvert adjustable rear shocks, and I have a rear sway to add if needed. Up front I’m running 1.09 torsion bars, fox shocks, sway bar, upper arm offset bushings for caster, adjustable track bars, and all the supporting front stiffening braces recommend by most except j bars. 275/35r18 tires.

I’m looking for all around decent handling, but it will never be a autocross or track car. My car will put down around 650 to the tires so traction is a factor in looking at rear leafs.

Should I be looking at xhd springs or something from espo? Our last drag strip in town just closed so strip performance is unfortunately not a factor, but I’d like to hook up on the street as much as possible and be able to handle nicely on mountain curves.

I run them on several of my faster street cars.
I did not notice any difference handling but they
are noisy as I set them up for Drags.
