Can anyone tell me if the background color on the 74 Dart Sport emblem is gloss black or flat black. From what I can find they do not reproduce these.

i would say in between....like a semi-gloss.....here is an NOS pair on ebay

Actually them are the ones I am thinking of buying, just for some reason they looked really shiny to me so I wanted to make sure they are really NOS, guess I will just take a chance on it.

i bought a set for mine maybe 10 years ago and they looked the same...although I paid nowhere near that price.....I think I paid 60.00 for a pair

Ya and they will only get worse, what do ya do... I don't think you could ever paint an old pair to look decent again, so i bought them. May be 3-4 years from now the car will be ready for them,
