Spring Reloc ??

I have a 74' Swinger and am gonna put the 3" spring relocation kit in the car for more tire. My question is where it says to weld the insert for the shackle is where my bumper shock threads in. See photo and arrow. Anyone done this on a 74'?

The earlier A body cars bumpers didn't bolt on like that. Think you may have to modify shorten that bumper bracket and change the location of that bolt hole for the bumper.

Rear leaf spring sliders may be another option for you. Think you just weld these to bottom of frame.

Just remember if you are going to use Super Stock Springs, the passenger side rear shackle hole will have to be moved up a little, about 1"- 2" on that side.
