Stainless trim around windows

Took my trim off around the windows on my Duster before painting it. Now it's time to put it back on. The question is, some of the trim bent a little when taking it off, will it push back into place when trying to get it back on? Will I have trouble getting it back on? Any comments will help-Thanks

It might not lay flat when you put it back on. I have that problem now and didn't even know it was bent till it was too late.

I wonder how the old body shops did it?

Well, the damage is done, but next time use the correct technique to prevent damage. You will need a special tool to pop it off without tweaking it. That's how the body shops did it, and still do it!

You might be able to "massage" it back into shape with a little patatience and time.
