My 5 year old broke her PT Cruiser some time ago. She kept hounding my for a new car. So I picked up a couple vintage Tonka trucks. I told her if she wanted them she had to help restore them. The one on the right is about what we started with. Left one finished product

Aww, she's a cutie! So cool, too. My daughter, now 19, was the only one of my three kids that was - is - into cars. This reminds me of her!

It was indeed fun. She did actually help. And was surprised it came out so well. She picked the color as well. Now when she plays with my floor dry she has a way to haul it
