Well,
I traded for some 14"x6.5" steel wheels. Got them cleaned up and blasted them then painted them. Got the tires swapped over and bolted them up. Damn!!! Locked up....

Reluctant to use spacers but i'm thinking the flat steel 1/4" thick ones would work. I really don't want to use the aluminum ones. They look like there are "hollow" spots on the side that faces the rotor and are cast. I had some cast aluminum shims for the rear-end pinion angle and the old bigblock squashed them.

Thing is, I haven't been able to locate a source that has the steel spacers with the 5 on 4.5" lug pattern.

Anyone?

How hard would they be to make, or have made. Should be fairly simple, just thinking out loud here.

Yep, hitting the caliper.
I put three washers equaling 1/4" and they don't hit.
