steel wheels and drag racing

Anyone run steel wheels on the back for drag racing? any issues with lugs loosening, breaking? Ill be running mid 11's, spool, 4:30 gears m/t et radials.

Steel wheels have been ran on the back of drag cars for 60+ years. You will be fine.

I have been running a 68 dodge dart with 4 sp and 513 gears ran 20 races last year and the car is an 11 sec car with 3 in studs no issues so far

Steel wheels, 10:87@ 122 MPH....No problemo's, with lugs or studs.
