Steering box

Can anyone tell me how to remove this part of

the steering box. I think it's maybe called the knuckle. I've pounded on it pretty good but it doesn't budge. It's the piece you see just below the exhaust. Thanks for any help.

Not sure what year/model you are working on, but on my 70 Duster there is a roll pin that needs to be removed with a hammer and punch. These pins only go in and out one way, so if you aren't having any success turn the wheel and spin the knuckle around 180°.

Looks like he has an early A body which has a bolt not a dowel pin. Need to completely remove the bolt. A tie rod fork works pretty good for prying It off.
