Steering Column A & B

Stupid Question i am sure, but are the 68/69 B body steering column close to the same as the A body same year? or alot longer? little help please.

I have one of each standing in the garage. I will take a look and see if what the differances are and get back.

Thank you, I have found a real good B body column cheap, but i am not sure of size differants.
