Hello,
I recently swapped a column shifted column from a 73 Duster over to a 72 Duster. Reason why is I robbed the floor shift linkage and column out of the 72 Duster to throw in my current project. But I have a problem, when I did that now my key wont crank the car. I was thinking the ignition switch was bad but when I have the car running, I can turn it off with the key. Just not start the car with it. Is that an Ignition switch problem? My brother said maybe that the column is out of a 73, there might be something different in the wiring. If anyone could help me troubleshoot it, that would be great. Thanks.
