Steering Column Inner Shaft Repair

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to repair the plastic shear pins on the steering column inner shaft?

They aren't pins. My understnding is that it is melted plastic that is injected into the space between the two shafts. My shaft was sheared too on my 68. I just extended it to where it needed to be, then drilled through them, tapped in some nylon screws, cut off the ends and put it back together.

Yes, like mopowers said, nylon screws from Homedepot in the fastener aisle or from Mc Master-Carr work great.

Other than the worry of them rattling going down the road there is no reason to worry about it. You can put them in position and inject some RTVin the holes.
