steering column linkage

I'm trying to remove the steering linkage from the column in the engine bay, the rod goes into a plastic bushing, how do I get it apart? (74 duster)

just pry it till it pops out. Mine were pretty ugly once I took them apart. If you can't find locally - replacements available here.
