steering column turn single exploded view

the turn signal in my 72 demon isnt disengaged when i turn the corner.. i tool it apart and the cam looks good not broken.. what is it that trips the cancel cam to turn the blinkers off?
here are a few pictures you can see that cam is good. the other part is that what trips the cam.. if so y isnt mine tripping it

Underside of the OEM steering wheel has a heavy steel ring with one end turned down about 1/2 inch. That is the finger that bumps the cancel cam. I don't recognize the part held in the second pic

you have a picture of that steel ring and where i can get one. the second pic is the back side of what the steering wheel attaches to
 
There are actually 2 pieces. The ring sits on top of a fancy hard plastic isolator. I think maybe it prevents the finger from providing a ground path thus blowing the horn? I forget. This is all typical/general info. A TUFF wheel or other sport wheel might be different. Showing both sides of your wheel might help
 
horn cancel cam is someone said its called.. any idea where to get one.
