Steering column

I am converting a 1968 dart from manual steering to power steering.
Is there a steering column length issue or are they the same?
Has anyone changed over?

The manual steering column is longer than the power steering column.

the power steering column is shorter and the coupler is a different size

I THINK (?) that Firm Feel or Steer-N-Gear has an adapter to use a PS column.

80's vans with manual steering DID use said adapter (FF/SNG repop it...?), but good luck finding one.

The columns are the same, just the steering wheel shaft is longer on the manual box.
