Somewhere I saw a spring that held the steering coupler cap on. I rebuilt mine and can't keep the cap in place. Does anyone know where i can get one?

I use one on my duster. Don't know his name or company, but I do know he's out of Chelsea, Michigan if that helps. Post something on moparts, that might help.

The way I did mine was to assemble the coupler on the column out of the car. That way, I was able to hold the coupler in a vise and use a punch to properly seat the locking tabs all the way around. Then re-install the column. Takes an extra half hour or so to pull and re-install the column, but that is probably how it was done at the factory. No good way to get at it when it's in the car.

Thanks guys, guess I'll pull the steerring column when I replace the dash this winter. I tried the address but t won't open.
