I have a cheap set of flowtech headers on a 74 Duster ( 360 Magnum ) and power steering. While turning the steering wheel the steering joint hits the headers. Can this be replaced with a simple flex joint with a smaller OD?

I had the exact same problem with the Duster and that is exactly what I did,
it took me a couple different places because I would have to order the part and every time they would send the larger one but finally got one that fit just right,

A picture would help. Do you mean the steering column coupler or do mean actual steering linkage (pitman, tierod)?

Do you remember where you got the parts and what parts did you use? Are you satisfied?

Thanks Gary
