anyone ever rig up there own steering shaft, hears the deal my duster is a drag car its been cut up, to lighten it up, sheet metal dash all rewired for basic race stuff so i removed the housing on the steering colume with the turn signals and ignition and all wiring .so i just want to use the housing that the tuff wheel bolts to and just run the basic shaft so i bought some support bearing bolt downs and a support floor flang bearing and some steering shaft clamps and hope to rig up a bare bones setup this weekend. im tring to get rid of any uneeded weight i want a bad *** bare bones old skool drag car.
